The Pervading Song of Devotional Yearning: A Long-Life Prayer Transformed
Namo Guru.
Kadag: Primordial purity, where spontaneous presence blooms within the luminous vase,
Chachoem: Equanimous three kayas, a space of inseparable union,
Dazoe: Now, the unconfined display of the self-liberated thigle of reality,
Masrib: Unobscured and all-pervading: may your precious life remain steadfast.
Tsarer: Directly, the unique basis of unstained, unimpeded transparency,
Za’og: A silken expanse of inner clarity and spontaneously present rays of light,
Shatag: Exclusively the vibrant resonance of jnana, assembling the infinite matrix,
Adon: The primordial resonant of 'A': Guru Ratna, may your life remain steadfast.
Inus: By the force of your compassion that liberates all wandering beings,
Unan: Through the persistent, natural flow of your enlightened deeds adapting to each disciple,
Ewam: The very essence of E-Wam: a physical form meaningful to all who connect with it,
Ogyen: Lord of the Oddiyana lineage: may your life remain steadfast.
The Petitions & Aspirations
As I pray thus from the depths of my heart,
By the infallible interdependence of relative phenomena and absolute reality,
And by the supreme power of your enlightened intent,
May you, my Protector, remain steadfast for a hundred eons.
Yet, when the day comes that you depart for the Realm of Manifest Joy (Abhirati),
Do not leave a dull, agitated being like me stranded behind.
With the tugging cord of your all-knowing, loving, and potent compassion,
Guide me, unerringly, like your own shadow.

This pervading song of yearning supplication to the Great Master possessing the three kindnesses, the spontaneously perfected four kayas who bears the name Yeshe Rin chen, was offered from the concrete-and-cliff hermitage by the devoted servant, the King of Stars (Rigdzin Karma), with a mind entirely moved by pure devotion. May it become meaningful and completely virtuous.

Postscript (The Living History)
📝 Note: This supplication was originally composed as a long-life prayer (Shapten) while I went to meditate at the hermitage of Chidak Rangdrol (Self-Liberation of the Lord of Death), one month before the Master passed away. Since the Master could not remain with us and passed into peace, this text was subsequently transformed into a prayer of devotional yearning (Mögdung).
